Trevor Bean Creates

Adobe Illustrator and InDesign

A client approached us looking to breathe new life into their branding. They were eager to elevate their image and make a lasting impression, so they reached out to request a redesign.

Sketches

The redesigned logo aims to better match the client's chosen typography, which happened to be the Agrandir font family. To achieve this, emphasis was placed on the heavy font weight and connecting it to the natural "bean" concept by incorporating a beanstalk and using leaves to form the letter "T."

In some of the designs, a flower pot was introduced to add more depth to the design rather than solely relying on the beanstalk. An additional concept considered involved using the flowerpot to display the brand name as an alternate logo.

Rough Draft

Once traditional and digital sketches were sent to the client, the client discussed and settled on one of the six designs to further develop, which was the one on the bottom right.

Colored versions, along with an all-black and all-white version of the logo, using the given color palette for further consideration by the client, were created.

However, at this stage, the client expressed a wish to change the flower pot to a bean to show the beanstalk "sprouting" from the bean and to resemble the concept that the client was going for with their brand.

Thus, the logo was tweaked to meet the suggestions of the client.

Final Design

After making changes to the logo based on the wants of the client, an all-white, all-black, and colored version of the revised logo was sent to them for their approval.

An alternate logo was also created alongside the colored version of the logo.
